New Algorand Governance Committal Period Open
The fourth period of Algorand Governance has officially opened with users now able to stake their ALGO for voting power. Following the conclusion of the third period, prospective users governors have until July 15 to register for the upcoming window. In the previous window over 3.5 ALGO was committed by a total 35,500 governors who received over 70.5M in rewards.
Napster Litepaper Revealed
Napster has launched its Litepaper V1 revealing how the platform will benefit music makers, fans and rights holders.
The web1 legacy brand is relaunching on the Algorand blockchain and is set to launch a decentralised musicfirst ecosystem to the benefit of fans, music makers and rights holders. The litepaper outlines the projects exciting future plans including the launch of $NAPSTER.
Dequency Talks to Decrypt
Margaret Link and Keatly Haldeman of Dequency recently featured in an interview on well renowned blockchain news platform Decrypt to discuss their protocol. Dequency is a web3 synchronization licensing marketplace built on Algorand.
In conversation with Decrypt journalist Dan Roberts the pair discussed how their company is using the Algorand blockchain to de-bug the decades-old process of music synchronization rights.
Algorand State Proofs Discussion
A panel talk from the recent Consensus 2022 event was published by Algorand this week and provided excellent insight into Algorand State Proofs.
Algorand’s Senior Product Manager Noah Grossman was joined by Algorand influencer Cooper Daniels and a panel of experts. This is a much watch for Algorand ecosystem advocates to learn more about how they plan to leverage this new infrastructure.

Algo Liquid Governance 2.0 by Folks Finance Announced
Algorand capital markets protocol Folks Finance has revealed a new liquid governance solution that users will be able to take advantage of during the next Algorand Governance period. Currently the model requires users to commit their ALGOs for three months meaning that users’ ALGOs are illiquid and effectively locked. The newly-designed Folks Finance Liquid Governance is meant to improve the current model by introducing a single and continuous gALGO, voting system, fee cancellation and the ability to early claim the expected rewards in gALGO.

Pera Governance Announces More Governance NFTs
The Official Algorand wallet Pera have announced the return of their popular Algorand Governance reward NFTs for the upcoming fourth term of voting.
Over 6,000 NFTs have been claimed so far from the previous period.
New designs are set be rolled out for period four and will be released on Pera’s social media accounts in the coming weeks.
Scaramucci Planning Crypto Bahamas
Anthony Scaramucci has announced that the Crypto Bahamas conference will be returning for 2023 with the SALT leader currently planning the event with partners at FTX. Crypto Bahamas is an exclusive gathering of the leading investors and builders in the blockchain, digital assets and web3 space.
The event is invitation-only event and this year featured four days of discussion and unique experiences in The Bahamas. Event programming will cover Bitcoin, DeFi, NFTs, regulation, web3, gaming and more.
Pact Partners with Algogems
Algorand AMM platform Pact has announced a new partnership with Algogems that will see them launch new NFTs on the platform. Algogems is a NFT Platform on Algorand with a Moderation & Curation DAO and are striking up multiple partnerships with significant defi products.
