FIFA Plus Collect Archives Drop Released
The global Football governing body FIFA has dropped its second NFT collection this week with the launch of FIFA Archives Packs. Like the original Genesis drop, the Archives collection is comprised of various iconic moments from previous FIFA World Cups and FIFA Women’s World Cups. Available for minting only on the FIFA Plus Collect Marketplace, users can open packs for a fixed rate of $USD4.99 and receive randomly generated NFTs. The FIFA Plus Collect Secondary Marketplace is also live meaning users can trade their NFTs or purchase a moment of their choice.
Goanna Council Members Announced
The Al Goanna project has this week announced the appointment of its DAO Council. This group will play a key role in shaping the direction and providing oversight of the Goanna DAO with a monthly meeting. The Council is comprised of eight members who were identified by the project due to their individual expertise as well as frequency of interaction within the Goanna community. The Council members selected are @kouroshbehnam, @algogov, @hank_shill, @algobuddro, @goldenmngo, @kyleTwang, @chrisswenor, and @HeddaB4.
NFT Artist Mama Surpasses 2m ALGO in Total Sales Volume
The Algorand NFT artist Mama has this week surpassed the 2 mil ALGO in total sales volume milestone for their cumulative NFT collections. Becoming just the third artist in the history of Algorand to achieve the feat, Mama is behind a total of 7 collections including 99 Wise Uncles, Geko Fam, Moofys, and more. Joining Al Goanna, and Stich as the only others to achieve this benchmark, there is no doubt that Mama is one of the most influential NFT artists in the Algorand space.
Meadow Labs Announce Warrior Turtles Giveaway
Meadow Labs have announced that they are running a giveaway to celebrate the upcoming drop of the Warrior Koala series. The prize on offer is 10x tickets to Australia Zoo on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. Anyone who purchases a Warrior Turtle will be automatically entered into the draw.
Pera Announce Giveaway with Al Goanna
Pera Wallet has announced a new collaboration with Al Goanna this week giving users the chance to win a special Pera themed Al Goanna. To enter the draw users simply need to interact with the announcement Tweet and follow the Al Goanna, Pera Wallet, and Shufl Marketplace Twitter accounts. As well as the special Al Goanna entrants could also win one of three Pera Lucky Governor NFTs.
