Pera Wallet Launch New Update
Pera have launched an update to their mobile app with upgrades including being able to use any .algo domains to send transactions NFDomains, display inner transactions with improved transaction history, interface improvements, and the ability to scan every kind of Algorand-enabled QR. The crypto social tracking platform Lunar Crush has produced an impressive recap video of everything that happened in the Algorand ecosystem in the last 6 months. FlexID Reveal Future Plans
Further development of Algorand protocols in Africa have been revealed this week particularly through FlexID’s Victor Mapunga.
FlexID, is set to provide proof of identification to the estimated 400 million people in Africa who lack formal identification.
"You can't verify credentials about individuals in a centralized fashion because it's very hard to trust the origin of those credentials, it creates a central point of failure, and it makes it very hard to scale," Mapunga said to Insider.
Coop Daniels and John Woods Interview
Popular Algorand creator Cooper Daniels recently conducted an interview new Algorand CTO John Woods giving an Algorand users an opportunity to learn more about the former Cardano man. Music Royalty Distributions Launched By Opulous
Opulous have announced the first roll out of their music royalty distributions is coming in Q3. The platform allows users to purchase NFTs representing partial ownership of songs. Part of the incentive is that users will then earn royalties based on how much of the song they own. Read the full details of how it works here.
Formula E Algo Community Summit in South Korea
Algorand Foundation are holding yet another community meet-up centred around the latest Formula E Grand Prix. This weekend Formula E travels to Seoul South Korea giving the Foundation an opportunity to engage with its vibrant South Asian community. Full details can be found here.
Algofi V2 is live
The Algorand DeFi protcol Algofi have released its upgraded V2 platform. Algofi offers a suite of fundamental defi products for Algorand including a decentralized exchange, lending market, and stablecoin. Full details of what the upgrade includes can be seen in the above infographic.
Tinyman Latest Update
Tinyman have released a series of updates to their platform today including an Asset Details page, and a continuation of their Pool party campaign. The asset details page means that users can now see the price history chart -with daily/weekly toggle- transation history and pools list for all ASAs. Meanwhile the pool party promotion means users can enjoy the USDC/ALGO pool with better APR.
