Algorand Foundation Launch LUNAtics x Algofam Program
The Algorand Foundation has continued to extend a helping hand to NFT projects native to the Terra Network this week announcing the launch of their new LUNAtics x Algofam program. The new initiative will allow Terra NFT projects to utilize an automated converter to transfer their assets onto Algorand with the Foundation fronting transaction costs. Other support on offer includes an exclusive support Discord, a converter dApp for Terra NFT holders to easily migrate their snapshotted NFT holdings across 1:1, and curatred educational content about NFTs on Algorand. An impressive gesture that could see an influx of big projects join Algorand.
Algonuts Sells Out 9700 NFTs in Under 5 hours
The Algonuts new Pixel Nuts NFT series has taken the Algorand NFT ecosystem this week selling out 9700 NFTs in just 5 hours. This success has seen the project generate over 117,000 ALGO in total sales volume and occupy top spot in the weekly sales chart of nftexplorer for much of the week. The remaining 300 NFTs that make up the collection of 10,000 have been held onto for the purpose of marketing and promotion so users should keep a close eye on the Algonuts channels for more updates. The Algonuts project primarily centers around the $ACORN token which can used be for various activities including NFT staking.
Blackbook NFT Sells Out the Second Drop of Their Collection
Blackbook NFTs have once again completed an impressive sell out from the second drop of their series 2 collection earlier this week. The project continues to perform well with their flagship Writers v Street Artists theme. The Australian graffiti artist Soffles is the creative engine of the project, and has announced that he will be also offering mentoring opportunities for up-and-coming talent through Blackbooks.
Algo Alex Concludes Series With a High Selling Auction
The Algo Alex NFT series has wrapped up its latest series with a successful final drop. The series gradually gained momentum throughout its run currently sitting on a total sales volume of 119,000 ALGO. The Alex NFT roadmap outlines the launch of a third series set to drop in June 2022 followed by a secret new series meaning their plenty to be excited about for Alex fans.
Limewire Tease Artist Line Up
Rebooted web2 music brand Limewire which is revamping for web3 by building on Algorand has teased details about its upcoming artist lineup announcement. In a Twitter post, the project announced that the line-up will include 20 headline acts, 100 emerging artists from 10 different countries covering a variety of genres. Revealing one of the artists is rapper Soljia Boy the community is excited to see the rest revealed. The project is set to relaunch on web3 by offering a marketplace for digital collectibles.
