Welcome to NFT Watch presented by Algopulse, a weekly series covering all the latest news in the Algorand NFT space. We’ll be looking into the biggest drops, sales, and platforms on the market so that you can keep tabs on this rapidly growing area.
Flemish Giants explode onto Algorand NFT scene
A new Algorand NFT project called Flemish Giants has exploded onto the market this week with impressive launch numbers. The project has already turned over a total of 17,074.690 Algos with a record sale of 3000 Algos. Featuring a variety of Rabbits, the first drop contained 25 designs ranging between an alien, a devil, a mummy, and much more. Astonishingly the artist behind Flemish Giants called Blockrunner has never worked on an NFT project before. The project remarkably had the fourth-highest sales volume in the Algorand ecosystem last week according to Algorand NFT statistician Andrewwindmills, only behind the most popular projects in the space Al Goanna, Algorillas, and MNGO. The series has also already cracked the top 20 list for Algorand NFTs all-time cumulative sales. Certainly an impressive start and a project to keep an eye on.
MNGO sets new project sales record
MNGO have shattered their previous project record sale selling MNGO #2998 for an eyewatering 6500.1 Algos on AlgoxNFT. The previous record sale was 1100 Algos which was for MNGO #96. The MNGO project has thus far had a total turnover of 179,420.335 Algos. The series was created by NFT artist Stitchbob who is also responsible for the popular Yieldlings series.
