Gilbert Goanna Reaches Goal of 200,000 ALGO Raised For Donations
Al Goanna’s Gilbert Goanna charity initiative has reached its goal of 200,000 ALGO raised in collaboration with Carbon Neutral. As part of the initiative, there have been over 40,000 trees planted with the funds raised for reforestation work in Australia. Users interested in donating can do so here.
Blackbook NFT Launches in Collaboration With Meadowlabs
New NFT series Blackbook has launched its first collection in collaboration with Meadowlabs and the artist Sofles. The Blackbook project is focused on digital graffiti and high-quality purchaser user experience. This first drop is titled Writers VS Street Artists with 10,000 NFTs released as part of the drop. Pixtrate Launch Pixel Girls Series
The Pixel Gals series officially launched this week with the project listing 1000 items to the community. The project has so far amassed a total sales volume of 33,000 ALGOs in this period with 250 NFTs in the series still up for grabs at the time of writing. The series was created by the Pixtrate project as a follow-up the popular Pixel Guys series which currently sits on a total sales volume of just under 400,000 ALGOs.
Fighting Fish Joins the World of Algo NFT Gaming
New Algorand based NFT gaming platform Fighting Fish is set to launch this week. The game will allow PvP combat game that will allow users to win $FIGHT tokens and vie for the title of King of the Sea. The game is set to launch initially on the Tinyman platform.
Tokens will primarily be used to transact within the Fighting Fish ecosystem for status items and cosmetics. In an effort to avoid a pay-to-win system, $FIGHT tokens will not contribute to the strength of a user’s fish.
Algoxnft brings Offers function to Algorand NFTs
The Algoxnft marketplace platform has introduced a new “offers” function allowing for greater user flexibility. The new feature makes it possible for users to place custom offers on listed items which the seller than have the option of accepting or declining rather than buying them outright for the asking price.
Pineapples and Strawberries Have Been Distributed For v2 Algoanna Project
Al Goanna have completed their airdrop of Strawberries and Pineapples as part of the ongoing build up for their v2 series. Also known as mutant furits these NFTs were distributed off the back of a recent snapshot taken by Al Goanna.
As explained on the Al Goanna project website, “during the release of V2, the pineapple can be used to produce a mutant version of your existing V1 Goanna.”
The traits from the V1 will be matched in the mutant version.”
When you produce your V2 mutant, you will retain your original V1 Goanna.”
Each V1 will only be able to produce one mutant and one zombie.”
“If you choose not to use the fruit to mutate your V1 Goanna it can be used to claim a randomly assigned V2 mutant or it can be sold on the secondary market.”
