20,000 Algo new NFT fund by Gilbert the gonna
The charitable arm of the Al Goanna, The Gilbert Goanna Tree Fund has launched an exciting new bounty program for emerging artists. There is a prize of 20,000 Algo up for grabs for the winner who will also get an opportunity to develop their work into a series of 1000 unique 1/1 NFTs.
“I’m excited to discover new creators and can’t wait to see what submissions we receive,” said Al Goanna Project Lead Benji.
“Our goal is to create an NFT series of the highest standard and to provide a platform for the artist to launch future works on Algorand.”
NFTs are coming to Pera wallet
Pera Wallet has this weekend announced that they will be introducing NFT functionality into their protocol. This means that Pera users will even be able to view their NFTs from within their wallet including 3D art and videos. While a launch date is yet to be announced Pera have promised that this update will be made soon.
Alchemon Experiences Surge in Sales
The Alchemon NFT project has experienced a surge in sales in recent days which sees them currently leading in the ecosystem in terms of weekly sales volume. This high volume comes as the project draws closer to the testnet launch of its highly anticipated NFT Battle game. Playing the game will allow users to earn Alchemon token which will have increased utility over time.
Alex Project on the rise
The Alex NFT project has been making an impression this week and is among the project’s with the highest trading volume over the last 7 days. The project launched in December 2021 and has grown steadily with this recent rise mainly attributable to its highly engaged Discord community. The next milestone on the radar is to surpass 100,000 Algos in sales volume.
