Rand Release New Open Source NFT Shuffle Website Embed Code
Rand Gallery have launched a new open-source initiative that will allow NFT projects to run shuffles embedded on websites. This creation is another example of the highly collaborative open source project within the Algorand NFT Ecosystem. Projects wishing to utilize the feature can do so here.
NFT Marketplaces Added to Official Algorand Directory
Algorand has begun listing NFT projects on their official website as part of their revamped Algorand Ecosystem Directory. The initial projects that have been listed by Algorand include Abris.io, AB2 Gallery, and Zestbloom. With several other high-profile NFT Marketplaces currently live on the network this will surely be just the beginning for projects in the NFT space receiving an official endorsement.
Algomint partners with Tigerchiclub
Algomint have partnered with the NFT project Tigerchiclub to hold a shuffle giveaway in the build-up to their Token Launch. Users were given the opportunity to win a custom Algomint themed Tigerchiclub in a 24 hour contest. The Tigerchiclub project launched in early 2022 and is inspired by the Chinese Zodiac Year of Tiger. The project has so far amassed a total sales volume of over 40,000 Algo.
Gotham FC Player Gifted Custom NFT
Popular NFT artist GalazkaAndrew who is also behind some of Algorand’s most popular NFT projects has this week created a custom NFT to celebrate Algorand’s recently announced sponsorship of NWSL team Gotham FC. The piece was given to Gotham FC player Paige Monaghan depicting an illustration of the player in an Algorand themed kit. Algorand’s sponsorship deal will see Gotham FC now feature Algorand as their main front-of-shirt sponsor for the next three seasons. Gotham FC kick-off their 2022 campaign with an away trip to North Carolina Courage on March 19th.
Octorand Surpasses 1 Mil ALGO in Sales Volume
The Octorand NFT series has remarkably surpassed 1 million ALGOs in sales volume becoming the second most successful Algorand NFT project in history despite only launching in January 2022. The project now only trails Al Goanna as the best ever selling Algorand NFT project. The project has consistently been among the best performing projects on a week-by-week basis making it unsurprising to see them climb the ranks so quickly.
