World’s First Fan-Owned Song on Algorand “NFT Bars” Released
The much anticipated first fan-owned song on Algorand was released this week with the Big Zuu’s single “NFT Bars” dropping on all major streaming platforms. The S-NFT sold out in just 30 minutes when it was originally auctioned in April 2021 by Opulous. The official music video has been viewed over 300,000 times on YouTube at the time of writing.
Algobots Now Available For Staking on Algonnuts
The Algobots NFT series has joined Yieldlings and Al Goannas as the latest collection to become available for staking NFTrees on $acorn. The Algonuts series and $acron were created as collectible art that could be utilized for a variety of use cases including the ACORNcares Program focusing on bettering wildlife and the environment. To date, the Algonuts series has planted 200 trees, and donated cages for a wildlife rehab facility.
Algo Whale Concludes Collection and Begins Ocean Cleanup Initiative
The Algo Whale NFT project have wrapped up their initial collection and begun a donation initiative for the Ocean Cleanup project. The collection first launched in September 2021 and has gone on to amass a total sale volume of 27,424 Algo from a total of 369 different Whale NFTs. The project are currently running several special auctions with proceeds continuing to go towards the Ocean Cleanup project.
Pixel Guys Complete Collection With Over 200k ALGO in Sales Volume
The Pixel Guys NFT series has concluded its first collection of its series. Launching in November 2021 the Pixel Guys, the series features of 1,000 NFTs and surpassed a total sales volume of 200,000. Inspired by the Noia Ducks series on Solana 50% of the project’s royalties are shared with their community. The series 10th and final shuffle is scheduled to take place on the 7th of January with the project set to launch its own marketplace during Q2 2022.
