Rand Gallery Now Supports NFTs Minted on Zestbloom
Algorand NFT marketplaces Rand Gallery and Zestbloom have this week announced a new strategic partnership that will see NFTs minted on Zestbloom listed on Rand Gallery. Zestbloom launched in Q4 2021, and is a marketplace built on Algorand to provide support to artists looking to bridge into the world of NFTs. The new partnership with the well-established Rand Gallery should provide welcome additional exposure for Zestbloom’s wide array of contributors.
New Year Algorand NFT Explosion Continues
Algorand community NFT statistician Andrew Windmills has this week shared data that displays the explosive growth the Algorand NFT ecosystem has enjoyed in the last six months. His data, sourced from NFTexplorer shows that November and January have been the biggest months for Algorand NFTs with total revenues exceeding 2 million Algos. Astonishingly at the time Andrew published the data there had already been 2,295,000 Algo spent in January which still had 7 days remaining.
Graffe Breaks Individual Sale Record
The Graffe series have smashed their individual sales record this week, selling a piece for 4,999.99 Algo. The series has grown steadily since launch in October 2021 and is one of the fastest-growing series in 2022. The project currently has a total 157 NFTs in circulation and has a total sales volume of 63.3K and a floor price of 1,900 Algo at the time of writing.
New Apeshi collection launching
Popular Algorand NFT artist behind Banana Kick and Banana Mint has launched a new series called BannaPrint Volume 1. The bananaPrint Collection consists of 1000 hand-drawn generative abstract banana designs produced by Apeshi, creator of BananaMint. BananaPrint employs a deflationary supply model aimed to increase scarcity of secondary market listings while simultaneously transferring assets value to the base of collectors and neglecting the concept of burning minted designs.
OctOpuls launch V2 with Dao use case
The second series of OctOpuls has been announced this week with the project also confirming new progress on OctOpul DAO. During the first series, OctOpuls produced 91 NFTs with a total sales volume of 9.8k. The project is set to release an updated roadmap in the coming days which will include new information on charity support, staking rewards, asset ownership, and more.
