Headline Crypto Launch New Signed Algoastro NFTs
Headline Crypto has launched a unique new piece as part of their Algoastors series featuring the signature of the creator in what they claim is a first for the Algorand NFT space. The series, which only launched in late November 2021, has experienced exceptional growth in its just over one month, minting over 60 NFTs. Created by the Headline Crypto team who are also behind defi projects such as AlgoPay, AlgoSwap, Libra Network, FORUM, and PIPELINE-UI who have pledged to donate 10% of Algoastro’s revenue towards The Whale and Dolphin Conservation. There are set to be 400 NFTs minted as part of this series so there may be an exciting few months of growth ahead for the budding project.
AndrewWindmills Shares Year-in-Review Algorand NFT Data
Algorand NFT statistician Andrew Windmills has been compiling data to summarize the year that was in 2021. To kick-off this series Andrew Windmills has put together a list of the top 20 best performing NFT projects on Algoexplorer in 2022. Unsurprising the Al Goanna series finished a-top the list with a total sales volume of 1,779,341 Algos after enjoying immense success since launch in August 2021. As many as eight projects surpassed the 100000 Algo sales volume threshold including M.N.G.O, Yieldlings, Pixel Guys, Algobots, Flemish Giants, Alchemon, and Algorillas.
Final Drop of First Flemish Giants Series
The final drop of the inaugural Flemish Giants campaign is set to place this week on Rand Gallery with Flemmies 92–100 going to market. Flemish Giants is one of the ecosystem’s fastest-growing series after launching in October 2021 amassing a total sales volume of 180655 Algos since launch which ranks 6th among Algorand NFT projects in 2021. Started by a group in the United States, the series’ artwork is made by @Blockrunner_ based in New York. While this is the conclusion of the project’s first collection there are no plans to slow down with Flemish Giants 2.0 set to launch in Q1 2022. The 2.0 series is said to feature over 1000 Flemmies which could see the project continue its rapid climb as one of the ecosystem’s largest collections. The project also has plans to launch a governance program in 2022 which will ensure an increase in community engagement.
G-Raffe Breaks Sales Record and Surpasses 30k Algo in Sales Volume
The G-Raffe NFT series have broken their all-time sales record selling the Sea Merchant G for over 3000 Algos. Launched in October 2021, The G-Raffe series has experienced a strong wave of growth in recent weeks and has surpassed 30,000 Algos in total sales volume. This may be another promising series that could continue to rise to prominence in 2022.
Linx to Mint 3D Versions of Collection
The Linx NFT series have this week announced that they will create 3D versions of each of their previous pieces giving collectors the option to purchase. Launching in October 2021, the Linx NFT collection so far has 100 pieces including collaborations with other popular Algorand projects like Opulous. The collection also has a unique narrative explaining where the Linx creatures came from and how they evolved into what they are today.
