Beargorand V2 Launches
Beargorand have this week launched their V2 series called Bullish Bears and enjoyed immediate success. Within 24 hours of launch the series was able to surpass 40,000 Algos in sales volume and to date has already reached 46,700 Algos after three days. This may be yet another series to keep a close eye on in 2022.
Bored Alien Squad Project Closed
The Bored Alien Squad project have officially closed their project following an announcement made on their Twitter account. The statement reads as follows:
“Dear Community, Bored Alien Squad was launched with a desire to advance the power of NFTs to connect people, create community and have fun. We have worked hard to do all of those things, but we have failed to maintain the trust necessary to accomplish these goals. Through these last few weeks, we have received much feedback from this community relating to concerns about the originality of Bored Alien Squad images. While we are confident in our legal position as it relates to the originality of our contracted artist’s work, we understand that it is the community’s confidence that is most important for the future of this project. So while we have considered all available options for how to improve our systems, procedures, team, and model in light of these circumstances, we now see that they will all fall short of re-establishing your confidence and trust. As such, we have decided to close the Bored Alien Squad project. We have listened to the feedback, and believe this is the outcome that the community wishes to see. And since we have created this project for the community, it seems best to close this project for the community also.

At this stage, no further comment has been made by anyone from the project.
Goanna Stories Continue
Al Goanna have continued their popular Goanna Story series providing the origin story of some of the community’s favorite Goanna’s. On the project’s Twitter, an expanded storyline on Buster (or Goanna 276) was promoted with users being able to see several storylines for other popular Goannas. To keep up with the latest Goanna stories join their Discord server and visit the “goanna-stories” channel.
Octorand Takes Algorand NFT Ecosystem by Storm
The project Octorand has this week taken the Algorand NFT ecosystem launching with incredible early popularity. Octo Primes are microscopic creatures, the only form of life existing in the world of Octorand. There are 1000 Octo Primes in existence. Each Octo Prime has 8 traits with varying degrees of rareness. Impressively the project has already surpassed a total sales volume of 750,000 Algo with that number constantly rising.
