Algobulls and Randgallery Launches Charity Auction Initiative in Collaboration with Stitch Bob
Algobulls and Randgallery have joined forces to launch a new initiative to raise money for St Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. This auction is the first of what is set to be an annual event featuring some of Algorand’s most popular awards in Christmas settings. The auction took place on Rand Gallery and opened on December 12th. In all the initiative saw over 40 community projects contribute eventually raising in excess of 5968 Algos with $9235 USD going straight to St Judes. A fantastic team effort.
Stitch Bob Launches Shrimp Game NFT Challenge
In addition to their recent charitable ventures, Stitch Bob has launched a new NFT based Discord Challenge on the MNGO Discord channel. A parody of the popular Korean Netflix show Squid Game, the Discord channel features new daily events posted for the community to get involved in. The game began by allowing holders of various Stitch Bob NFTs to receive a shrimp NFT in return which was used to participate. Once users obtained a Shrimp they had to participate in various games across Discord and Twitter to “survive” until the next round. Another great example of the creative use cases for NFTs on Algorand.
DopeCats Hold Airdrop
The DopeCats NFT series is holding an airdrop for their community giving away a high-quality 3d render. The airdrop applies to those who hold DopeCat NFTs in their wallet rather than a market escrow account. The DopeCats NFT series has experienced solid growth since its launch in September and is fostering a passionate fanbase with a vibrant Discord server and over 26,000 Algos in total sales over the project lifetime.
Algopulse NFT Giveaway Winners Selected
The winners of the Algopulse NFT giveaway competition have been selected and will be contacted in the coming days to receive their prizes. The competition was launched during the DeCipher conference on the Algopulse social media channels giving participants the opportunity to win several Decipher-themed NFTs, merchandise, and PULSE tokens when they are released. There was a total of 95 unique winners selected who will receive communication with instructions for receiving their prizes in the coming days.
Linx Launches Donations Program
The Linx NFT project have this week announced the launch of a new donation program on their Discord channel. Partnering with Argentinian charity Fundación Si, Linx will aid in accommodating underprivileged students with housing, food, weekly allowance, medical and emergency health care, tutors, and psychological assistance.
Linx will make a monthly financial contribution that will see at least 8 students at the University’s Residences of Fundación Si.
