Art Goanna Sofles & Blackbook Donate 4892 ALGO to the Gilbert Goanna Tree Fund
As part of their ongoing collaboration with Al Goanna, Sofles, and Blackbook NFTs have announced that they have donated 4892 ALGOs to the Gilbert Goanna Tree fund. The Gilbert Goanna fund was set up by the Al Goanna project in partnership with Carbon Neutral to support tree planting and conservation efforts around the world. To date the fund has raised in excess of 43,000 ALGOs with trees being planted within the Yarra Yarra Biodervisity Corridor in South Western Australia and protected by covenant for at least 100 years.
Space Monkeys Launch Easter Charity Event to Raise Funds For Ukraine Victims
The Space Monkey’s NFT project have revealed the details of a new Easter initiative to raise money for victims of the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. The event will see NFTs donated by the Space Monkey community pooled for an “Easter Egg Hunt” where users will have to find the NFTs up for grabs for a chance to win them in the Space Monkey Discord. The event is set to kick off on Saturday, April 16, and will conclude once all of the NFTs are found.
Fracctal Monsters Receive an Algorand Foundation Grant
The Algorand Foundation have this week awarded a grant to the Fracctal Monsters NFT project. Fracctal Monsters is a game being developed on Algorand that allows players to nurture a digital pet from birth to adulthood.
In addition, players will have the ability to battle other players to earn rewards which include tokens and in-game cosmetics.
“We’re really excited to support Fracctal Monsters deliver their new P2E NFT monster gaming project on Algorand in 2022,” said Addie Wagenkneckt of Algorand Foundation.
“The Algorand NFT community base is growing, and partnering with Fracctal Monsters offers a great opportunity for a professional game development team to excel.”
Algoxnft Adds Report Scam Feature
The Algoxnft marketplace has announced a new flag feature that will allow users to identify projects that they deem to be illegitimate. The feature has been created to reduce the number of rugpulls within the Algorand NFT ecosystem, with several high-profile incidents occurring in recent weeks. Once flagged, Algoxnft will review the project to ensure its legitimacy.
Llama Limited Society Announces Exclusive Scroller Game for NFT Holders
The Llama Limited Society project has announced the creation of a new scroller game that will be exclusively available to Llama NFT holders. The scroller game sees the titular Llama placed against a variety of enemies who need to be traversed to complete levels. Users were given a sneak peek of the gameplay with a new teaser published by the project this week.
